Mechnikov’s sour milk 4%
Description
This dairy product produced according to the recipe offered by Ilya Ilyich Mechnikov, Russian scientist, is made by normalized milk fermentation with the use of a special starter which contains Streptococcus thermophilius and Lactobacillus bulgaricus. Unlike other sour milk product, it is tempered at high temperature (40-45°C) for several hours, and it becomes stiff and acquires a specific taste. Mechnikov’s thermostatic sour milk is often used as a dietary product, because it is easily digested and contains healthy bacteria which improve digestion and strengthens immune system.
